Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you use Bdasglo.com.gh and Bdasglo.com.gh mobile application ("Bdasglo") and the services provided through (together the "Service"), how such personal data will be used and shared.

1. PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER

Bdas Global Limited a company registered in the Republic of Ghana (with registered office at Emmanuel Court – GM-117-6659, CV61 BEET Street Oyarifa- Accra, P.O. Box...., Ghana) will be the controller of your personal data.

2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We collect data you give us voluntarily (for example, an email address). We also collect data automatically (for example, your IP address).

You may be asked to provide us information about yourself when you register for and/or use the Service. This information includes: first name, last name, phone number, email, gender, date of birth (together "Required Information"), address details, working hours, etc., as well as access to your photos, albums and their metadata.

Identification Documents

You will need to provide us with your ID or similar identification document if you want to post advertisement in Mobile Phones category, unblock your account or make duplicate account primary.

Automated Document Review

When you submit your identification documents, we may use automated tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to review and verify these documents. This helps us assess authenticity, detect fraud or manipulation, and enforce platform safety standards.

These tools are provided by Google Cloud (Vertex AI/Gemini) and may process your data outside your country, subject to appropriate safeguards under Google's Data Processing Terms.

Car Loan Applications

If you want to apply for a car loan, we shall provide us with your employment Type (Salary Earner or Business Owner), Monthly Income/Salary and Bank Verification Number (BVN). We will use this information for the calculation of amounts for the first and subsequent monthly instalments.

Meta Login

We get profile image, name, Meta ID, and optionally email, gender, date of birth, friends list, and location.

Google Login

We get your name, email address, profile picture and Google ID.

Apple Login

We get Apple ID, name and email from your account. You can use Hide My Email function.

Truecaller

We get phone number, name, addresses, profile image, job title, company name, gender.

Smile Identity Verification

We may collect your name, official government ID number and photo image to confirm your identity. For this we will share this information with a 3rd party service provider, Smile Identity Inc., in order to validate it with the governmental sources.

Smile ID may collect additional data: full name, date of birth, image, address, phone number, gender, government ID expiry date or other additional information associated with your ID number.

Referral Data

We collect data about your referring URL (the place on the Web where you were when you tapped on our ad).

Device & Location

Language settings, IP address, time zone, device type and model, operating system, etc.

Usage Data

How you interact with our Service, features used, session duration, sections visited.

Advertising IDs

Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) or Google Advertising ID (AAID).

Transaction Data

Payment transaction details, date, time, amount, and payment method used.

Cookies & Technologies

Cookies, ETags, and similar technologies for functionality and security.

Legal & Authorities

Business Transactions

As we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets or business offerings. Customers' information is generally one of the transferred business assets in these types of transactions. We may also share such information with any affiliated entity and may transfer such information in the course of a corporate transaction.

7. AVAILABLE REMEDIES

If there is a data breach that may cause a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals, we will notify competent supervisory authority, when such notification is mandatory. If the risk is assessed by us as "high", we will also notify the affected data subjects without undue delay.

The time frame for such notification will be developed by us on the basis of number of affected data subjects and time needed to collect contact information for notifications.

If the measures taken did not address your concerns: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, or to seek redress in a court of competent jurisdiction.

8. NO LIMITATION CLAUSE

No limitation of liability shall avail us in case we act in breach of the principles set out in Section 3.

10. AGE LIMITATION

We do not knowingly process personal data from persons under 16 years of age.

11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We may transfer personal data to countries other than the country in which the data was originally collected in order to provide the Service set forth in the Terms of Use and for purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Safeguards: If these countries do not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information, we deploy special safeguards. In particular, if we transfer personal data originating from the EEA to countries with not adequate level of data protection, we use one of the following legal bases: (i) Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or (ii) the European Commission adequacy decisions about certain countries.

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to make material changes to this Privacy Policy, you will be notified through our Service or by other available means and will have an opportunity to review the revised Privacy Policy.

By continuing to access or use the Service after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

13. DATA RETENTION

We will store your personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary for achieving the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy (including providing the Service to you), which includes (but is not limited to) the period during which you have a Bdasglo account.

We will also retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Note: We will store your hashed email address, phone number, identification documents and information on the fact your account has been blocked after fulfilling your request on deleting your personal data.
